Development Agency Project Support

The Development Agency is a public legal entity established under Law No. 5449, with the aim of ensuring effective and localized use of resources by fostering cooperation between local authorities and central government through a democratic and participatory approach.

The Izmir Development Agency works to strengthen the institutional capacities of public institutions, the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and local governments in Izmir. It aims to promote a culture of collaboration and efficient partnerships. In line with the national development plan and based on a participatory approach, the agency prepared the 2010–2013 Izmir Regional Plan and provides both technical and financial support for projects and activities that facilitate the implementation of regional plans and program. The types of support provided by our agency include: calls for project proposals, guided project support, direct activity support, technical support, interest support, interest-free loan support.
